What is law of conservation of mass?

Law of conservation of mass state that mass can neither be created nor be destroyed in any chemical reaction.

So as our statement of law of conservation of mass says that mass can neither be created nor be destroyed in any chemical reaction if we try to understand it word by word than it would be more interesting.

So the first word is "mass "  which is the most important term in it's own to understand the most important thing.

So what is mass if you don't know i would like to explain that mass is that amount of substance by which that particular thing is maded.
For example a chair, a ball  here the amount of matter or substance by which the chair and ball is maded that's the mass . This is called the mass.

Now. 
"can neither be created nor be destroyed "
This is the simplest thing to understand we can't create any mass and cannot be destroy any mass by any method. What ever mass is given it will be remain same without any disturbance in it's quantity.

Now the last few words " in any chemical reaction "
It simply means that whatever we have talked about till now those are going to happen in a chemical reaction which can be of any type with either two reactant or more than two reactant.
So whenever we will do any chemical reaction this law "conservation of mass" gets apply there and cause it is very important in our chemistry labs and for scientists we can not ignore it while doing any chemical reaction.
